The
father of AI computer programming, John
McCarthy once said "We should try to make AI systems as good as
children". I'm not entirely sure what he meant by that, but today we
celebrate the inventor of LISP's birthday.
As early as 1961, John proclaimed that computer
power and applications could one day be sold through a utility business model
like water or electricity. Modern Cloud Computing bears out John's early
thoughts on the matter.
Continuing on the theme, I'm please to announce
that the Cloud Security Alliance - South Florida
Chapter has its own website. We hope to make the website a resource
for all SFL professionals involved in cloud computing.

are some common, helpful and progressive steps to turn your great kernel of an
idea into reality, or land you a gig with that hot startup you’ve had your eye
on. More..
