     Join us on Thursday, January 21st as Joe Healy of Microsoft presents another dining and learning experience at the Sherlock Technology Offices in Miami Beach for the Azure South Florida Users Group.  Windows® Azure is a cloud services operating system that serves as the development, service hosting and service management environment for the Windows Azure platform. Windows Azure provides developers with on-demand compute and storage to host, scale, and manage web applications on the internet through Microsoft® datacenters.
 
     Prior to the AsFug meeting, Sherlock will be giving Sherlock Holmes Movie passes to Sherlock trivia winners and we'll be watching Sherlock videos.  Wow, does that sound fun, or what!

Johnny Martinez Jr. Kicks Off PMI 2010 Dinner Meetings

     Join us on Thursday, February 4th in Doral as the South Florida Chapter of PMI kicks off the new year with their first dinner meeting of 2010.  Johnny Martinez, Jr., Director of Miami-Dade's Office of Capital Improvements (OCI), will provide us with an overview on project management approaches and trends along with insights into working in the public sector.  Mr. Martinez will discuss project management approaches, lessons learned, tools, techniques and practices, and commentary on the public sector industry and methods.  This is not an event to miss!

5th Annual South Florida Code Camp Next Month
 
     Join us on Saturday, February 27th at DeVry in Miramar for a FREE one day GEEK FEST held on Saturday February 27, 2010. This is the fifth year for South Florida Code Camp. The event will have speakers from the local community and beyond. Speakers will be presenting some of the most requested topics like ASP.NET AJAX, Visual Studio 2008, MVC Framework, Silverlight, Windows Presentation Foundation, Sharepoint 2007 and SQL Server 2005.
