She hails from the great Caribbean Island of Trinidad & Tobago, Alicia J. Alexander was born and raised in the city of Port-of Spain in 1968 before her Parents immigrated to the United States in January 1971.

The family settled down in Roxbury Massachusetts, where Alicia attended elementary and junior high school, before moving to Rumford, Rhode Island. She recalls the decision to move to Rhode Island was her parents' decision.

Upon completion of her studies, Alicia graduated from Providence College in 2002 and embarked on a path to build her own career in business. 

 

Through her extensive industry experience in Sales and Marketing coupled with her Public Relations education acquired at George Washington University, Alicia commenced her quest to start out as a woman entrepreneur and founder of Image Werks, LLC.

Alicia recalls the turning point came in June 2005 when she attended the Frasernet's Power Networking Conference, held in Cleveland, Ohio that her ideas were crystallized on paper into creating Image Werks after consultation with a Business Coach.

A rising star in the world of business, this New England Gem has quickly become a leading female, black entrepreneur of her time. She currently enjoys a cross section of clientele from the Biometrics Industry, Aviation Industry, Telecommunications, Food Services, Fashion and High Entertainment. She also promises to grow her business empire into other unexplored horizons.

As founder and Chief Executive Officer of Image Werks, LLC, Alicia has strategically positioned herself in business with an aim of "bridging the gap," both culturally and genderwise to advance issues affecting women and minorities especially, black people.

Of the accolades and convey responsibilities, Alicia J. Alexander, has been appointed the New England President of the National Alliance of Market Developers a 54 year old, progressive and prolific organization. She is also, Faculty Advisor Ambassador with the Frasernet's Power Networking Conference.  In addition, for her Synergy Partners Business Network International chapter has received the Notable Networker Award. She attributes her success to having purpose, vision and a mission of what you want to accomplish in life.
 
When asked where Alicia sees herself in next five years, she desires to gain a stronger, global footing and to build a staff of young progressive professionals, who are enterprising, innovative, determined and willing to maximize their potential.
 
On a more personal note, she is more determined to become a naturalized citizen in this year. Of her hobbies, Alicia says she enjoys activities that allow her to enjoy her two beautiful children Epiphany and Josh and she enjoys traveling.
